Battle Royale is a game mode in Mordhau, it was removed from official Matchmaking in Patch #19 due to a lack of interest. It is still available as a community server game mode.
In this gamemode, you would open chests scattered around maps to gain weapons and armour while a large purple field surrounding the map would close in.

Community Battle Royale[ | ]
There are some attempts to reignite interest in Battle Royale and allow people to take part in organised events to play the mode.
