A Corazzina was a type of brigandine/coat of plates that consisted of a solid breastplate covered in textile like leather or velvet and smaller, individual plates for the back. Why its used as a tier 2 armor remains unknown to me since it has more in common with a solid breastplate than with a brigandine.
It was used from the 14th up to the 16th century but was most popular during the 15th century.
The one featured in mordhau is probably based off the one in the bavarian national museum, where you can see the solid breastplate on the inside: front, back
