The Falx has one skin, The Dacian Falx. This skin adds several components to it, allowing you to change the handle and the blade. The options you have for the blade are the reaper, harvest, and carving blade. These blade options mainly just change the curve of the weapon, harvest (the default option) curving the least, and the carving blade curving the most. The handle options are carved (the default option), ringed, and ? handles.
Historical References[ | ]
The Falx was used from 100 b.C to 300 a.D and was surprisingly effective against the armor the romans wore at that time.
One of the reasons it managed to penetrate the roman armor was its pointed and foward facing tip (which isn't presented properly in the game) which had a similar effect like the back end of a warhammer. It was mainly used to hit parts that werent covered by their shield like the helmet.
It should be noted though that the armor the romans had at that time were far inferior to medieval plate armor.
Notes and Trivia[ | ]
Contrary to blades such as the Scimitar, the Falx is sharpened on the inside of the curve. The sword used by elves in the Lord of the rings movies is derived from a falx.
